Backups
Protect your data before something goes wrong.
Where Settings → Backup database
The page shows space used, the last backup and free disk space, with a Backup History of every backup, newest first. Download or delete any of them.
Create and schedule#
- Press to create a backup on demand.
- Automatic Backups: switch on a schedule and choose how many to keep. Older scheduled backups are deleted automatically. Manual backups are never auto-deleted. Change the schedule under
Settings → System configuration.
Restore#
A restore replaces the entire database, so it runs over SSH, where there is no timeout. A safety backup of the current database is always taken first.

Important
Backups are stored on the same server as your database. If the server fails these files go with it. Download important backups and keep them somewhere else.
